One of the many quirks about singing during a global pandemic, is that the livestreaming facilities saw a dramatic uptake; which gives the choir a great opportunity to not only showcase, but also record the music that we sing at mass.
'SICUT CERVUS': SUNG BY PAST/PRESENT GENTLEMEN OF THE CHOIRThis virtual choir came about as a result of Covid-19. Amidst the lock-down, the Gentlemen came together virtually to perform a piece of music that is very near and dear to the Choir's heart. The video was edited and mixed by Shane Barriscale; a present member of the choir.

'Lord of all hopefulness' arr. by david mooney: Sung in carnegie hallThis performance took place on the choir's trip to the US in 2015. The piece performed is one of many arrangements composed, by David Mooney, for the Choir. On the trip, the Choir visited New York, Washinton DC and Pensylvania. However, nothing could compare to the experience of singing in such a prolific venue, like Carnegie Hall!

'Surge, illuminare, Jerusalem' by Palestrina: Sung in St. peter's basilicaHere is a video from the Choir's trip to Rome in 2013. The piece of music featured calls for two choirs, and as such allows a remarkable call and response to take place between The Palestrina Choir and The Sistine Chapel Choir. The Choir was invited to sing at The Epiphany Mass which was said by His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI, and was one of his final masses before he retired as Pope.

'Though we are Many' by Bernard sexton: International Eucharistic CongressIn 2012, the 50th International Eucharistic Congress took place in Dublin. 80 years prior (1932), the 31st International Eucharistic Congress took place in Dublin, with the Palestrina Choir being the principal choir, and as such was made the principal choir again in 2012. 'Though We Are Many' was the Official Congress Hymn and was recorded by the choir in 2012. The Choir also released a CD to coincide with the Congress; 'O Sacrament Most Holy', which can be streamed on Spotify and purchased on iTunes.

'Missa Sancti Josephi', By Flor PeetersHere is a recording of the first two movements from Flor Peeters' 'Missa Sancti Josephi'. It is a favourite of the Choir's and is closely linked with the former Titular Organist of the Pro-Cathedral; Prof. Gerard Gillen, who studied with Peeters in Belgium for many years.

'Jesu Dulcis Memoria' by VictoriaThis concert came about during the 75th International Eucharistic Congress. Although it did not take place in Ireland, there were many events held in the spirit of the Congress. The Choir is accompanying a presentation on "Art and the Eucharist", delivered by Dr. Eileen Kane.

These videos came as result of the Choir's upcoming trip to Belgium in 2010. Under the direction of David Vivian Russell; a former musical assistant of the choir, the gentlemen prepared their own repertoire for the Ghent Music Festival. The motets above show the versatility of the Gentlemen, with Victoria's 'Ave Maria' calling for a double choir; splitting the men into eight separate parts.
'Sicut Cervus': With a Highlight Reel of The 2009 Trip to YorkshireThis vlog was the brainchild of one of the former countertenors of the Choir; Eoin Conway. It shows some of the beautiful places the choir get to visit! In this instance, we get a wonderful view of York Minster Cathedral, alongside the euphonious harmonies of Palestrina's 'Sicut Cervus'.
