The Breandán ó Dúill Recordings - Documentary
This documentary was recorded by a past member of the Palestrina Choir; Breandán Ó Dúill RIP. He was an actor, best known for his role as the publican Mickey Mac in RTÉ's long-running television series The Riordans. Three generations of his family were members of the Palestrina Choir; himself, his son Cathal Ó Dúill and his grandnephew Óisín Ó Nualláin.
I'd personally like to thank Cathal Ó Dúill for giving us permission to release these recordings.

'Sicut Cervus' By Palestrna;
Sung in 1997 for a Documentary about
The music Of Ireland
This absolute gem of a video, comes from a very different Palestrina Choir. It predates our current Choir Director; Blanaid Murphy by five years, and my birth (the editor) by four years. The, then Choir Director; Órla Barry, demonstrates the timeless harmonies of Palestrina's 'Sicut Cervus' for a Documentary by Diane Bish (Narrator); a world-renowned organist. The Documentary's intent, was to highlight the musical offerings of Ireland at the time. I'm utterly shocked by this recording's unbelievably crisp audio and visuals, especially considering that it was recorded in 1997. Please do enjoy this relic of a recording; there won't be many others like it!
